My iphone (jailbroken: 3G 4.0.1) got better after I restore the phone from backup;
0. Check how much % it drops per min
1. Sync your phone so that you do not lose your latest app
2. Right click on device (iphone) and go to “restore from backup”
3. After your phone reboot, test the battery drain speed

the reason why the battery drains so much is because when you jailbreak, a lot of times people start adding all these mods and customizations like winterboard teams and stuff.. anything that you add like cydelete, winterboard, backgrounder, all those extra stuff are mobile substrates… means they attach to the os and run “extra” to the os.. since the battery is optimized to the iphone os alone, any “processes” you run thru mobile substrate will drain battery. anything outside of the iphone os (anything from jailbreaking) is not meant to be and WILL drain battery. theres NO WAY AROUND the battery draining other than un-jailbreaking

ps: you can always disable mobile substrates add-ons with sbs settings and it will stop the extra battery drain. but then again whats the point of jailbreaking if you arent going to customize it =). or just run 1 or 2 add ons

Have you ever considered adding more videos to your webpage to keep the viewers more involved? I just read through the whole post and it was very good but since I am more of a visual learner, I find videos to be more helpful. I enjoy what you guys are always up too. Keep up the good work. I will check out your page on the regular for some of the latest post.

the first batch of iPhone 3G was a bit pricey but now the price is more affordable than before. I bought two units of iPhone 3g and i am amazed of this phone.
